Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of the specialist nurse assistance model combined with the SWOT risk control nursing model on risk events and nutritional levels in long-term hemodialysis patients. Methods:A total of 98 long-term hemodialysis patients admitted to the hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects and divided into the control group(n=51)and the observation group(n=47)based on different nursing methods. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received specialist nurse assistance model combined with the SWOT risk control nursing model on the basis of the control group. The nutritional levels[total protein(TP),prealbumin(PA),albumin(ALB)],psychological states[Profile of Mood States(POMS)Questionnaire],renal functions[serum creatinine(Scr),cystatin-C(Cys-c),urea nitrogen(UN),β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)],and the incidence of risk events were compared before and after the intervention in both groups. Results:After the intervention, the levels of TP,PA,and ALB in both groups were higher than those before the intervention, and the levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);after the intervention, the scores of the four core emotional factors of POMS in both groups were lower than those before the intervention, and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);after the intervention, the levels of Scr,Cys-c,UN,and β2-MG in both groups were lower than those in the control group, and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the total incidence of risk events including venous thrombosis, infection, malnutrition, and local swelling/bleeding in the observation group was 2.13%,which was lower than 17.65%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The specialized nurse assistance model combined with the SWOT risk control nursing model can reduce the incidence of risk events in long-term hemodialysis patients, increase the levels of TP,PA,and ALB,improve their nutritional status, alleviate negative emotions, and promote the recovery of renal function.
