Abstract:Objective:To explore the incidence and influencing factors of urinary tract infection(UTI)in female nurses and construct a nodal plot model, aiming to provide relevant suggestions for the prevention of UTI in female nurses. Methods:A convenience sampling method was used to select 738 female nurses from 5 tertiary and 3 secondary hospitals in Gansu province as the research subjects.A general information questionnaire,a Female Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms Questionnaire, and a Urine Retention Behavior Scale were used to investigate the risk factors for UTI in female nurses. The nodal plot model was constructed using Rstudio 4.2.2.Results:The incidence of UTI in female nurses was 57.72%.Logistic regression analysis showed that years of service, urinary retention, urinary urgency, dysuria, bladder pain, and frequency of urinary leakage were independent risk factors for UTI in female nurses(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)was 0.75,with a 95%CI[0.714,0.786],indicating good discrimination. The Calibration curve was close to the ideal curve, and the Decision Curve Analysis(DCA)curve showed a high net benefit of the model. Conclusion:The incidence of UTI is higher among female nurses, and nomograms can effectively predict the risk factors for UTI in female nurses.
