Status quo and trend of fetal cephalic dystocia based on Citespace:a visual analysis

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the status quo of foreign research in the field of fetal cephalic dystocia,explore research hotspots and frontiers,and provide reference for the research of fetal cephalic dystocia in China.Methods:The literature related to fetal cephalic dystocia was retrieved from Web of Science database from January 2010 to November 2024.CiteSpace6.3.R1 software was used for visualization analysis.Result:A total of 257 relevant documents were included.The annual publication volume fluctuated greatly,with an overall upward trend.The main research institutions were hospitals,research institutes or colleges and universities in various countries,and there were close cooperation and communication between the institutions.There were 288 authors in the research of fetal cephalic dystocia,and a clear core team had been formed,with close cooperation between teams.The country with the largest number of publications was Italy.Combined with keyword co-occurrence maps,high-frequency keywords,keyword emergence,and cluster analysis,the diagnosis and treatment methods of fetal cephalic dystocia were research hotspots.Conclusion:The research on fetal cephalic dystocia abroad is relatively mature,with a wide range of research and strong relevance,which could provide reference for the research on fetal cephalic dystocia in China.
