Abstract:Objective:To translate the Rheumatoid Arthritis Knowledge questionnaire(RAKE)into Chinese and test its reliability and validity. Methods:The scale was translated according to the Brislin scale translation mode, and the Chinese version RAKE was formed through expert consultation and pre-adjustment.557 patients with rheumatoid arthritis from 2 third grade A hospitals in Zhengzhou were selected for evaluation with the Chinese version RAKE to test its reliability and validity. Results:The Chinese version of RAKE included 5 dimensions, including drug treatment, disease knowledge, professional coping,non-drug treatment and self-care,with a total of 44 items. The results of exploratory factor analysis showed that the cumulative variance contribution rate of the five common factors was 73.22%,and the RAKE score of Chinese version was moderately positively correlated with the total score of arthritis self-efficacy scale(r=0.510,P<0.001).The total Cronbach's α coefficient, broken half reliability and retest reliability of the scale were 0.923,0.811 and 0.871,respectively.Conclusions:The Chinese version of RAKE has good reliability and validity, and can be used to evaluate the knowledge of rheumatoid arthritis patients.
