Summary of best evidence for nutrition management in premature infants

Abstract:Objective:To retrieve,evaluate and integrate the relevant evidence of nutrition management in premature infants,and to provide evidence-based reference for clinical implementation of nutrition management in premature infants.Methods:According to the"6S"evidence model,relevant guideline websites,professional society websites and Chinese English databases were searched.The types of literature included guidelines,expert consensus,evidence summary,systematic evaluation and Meta analysis.The search time was from January 1,2010 to December 31,2023.The quality evaluation,grade evaluation,summary and comprehensive analysis of the included literature were carried out.Results:A total of 20 articles were included,including 14 guidelines,5 expert consensus,and 1 evidence summary.Thirty pieces of evidence were summarized from 6 aspects,including team composition,nutritional support,nutritional intake pathway,nutrient intake,nutritional monitoring,and health guidance.Conclusions:This study summarized the evidence for nutrition management of premature infants,which can provide reference for clinical nutrition management of premature infants.In clinical practice,a multidisciplinary nutrition management team should be established to provide individualized nutrition management programs for premature infants according to clinical scenarios.
