Incidence and influencing factors of fear of disease progression in patients with cardiovascular disease:a systematic review and Meta-analysis

Abstract:Objective:To systematically understand the incidence and influencing factors of tear of disease progression(FoP)in patients with cardiovascular disease through systematic review and Meta-analysis,and provide a scientific basis for clinical psychological nursing.Methods:All cross-sectional studies on the prevalence and influencing factors of FoP were retrieved from PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,the Cochrane Library,CINAHL,and CNKI from January 2003 to January 2023.Two reviewers independently screened the literature,extracted data,and evaluated the quality of the literature according to the standards.The STATA 15.1 software was used for data analysis.Results:A total of 8 articles were included,involving 1 686 cases,all of which were medium-and high-quality literature.The results showed that the incidence of FoP in patients with cardiovascular disease was 39%;age,family history,history of percutaneous coronary intervention,and coping style were the influencing factors of FoP in patients with cardiovascular disease.Conclusions:The incidence of FoP was high in patients with cardiovascular disease.Medical staff need to pay more attention to the FoP in clinical work to reduce the occurrence of adverse outcomes in patients with cardiovascular disease.
