Abstract:Objective:To evaluate nutritional screening of maintenance hemodialysis patients and evaluate the effectiveness of best evidence applied to clinical practice. Methods:The best evidence for nutritional screening and evaluation of maintenance hemodialysis patients were selected, review indicators for baseline review were developed, and the promotion and obstacle factors were analyzed based on the review results. The evidence was applied to clinical practice from October to December 2022.Before and after evidence-based practice, the nutritional indicators of maintenance hemodialysis, nurses'knowledge, attitude and behavior about nutrition screening and evaluation, and the implementation rate of review items were compared. Results:After the application of the best evidence, the incidence of malnutrition in patients decreased from 13.87%to 6.54%,and the score of malnutrition inflammation decreased significantly(P<0.05).The score of nurses'knowledge, attitude and behavior related to nutrition screening and evaluation increased from(54.22±6.49)to(71.36±3.03),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Among the 11 review indicators, the implementation rate of 10 review indicators was significantly higher than the baseline review level(P<0.05).Conclusions:The application of the best evidence of nutritional screening and evaluation in maintenance hemodialysis patients reduces the incidence of malnutrition in patients, improves the implementation rate of the review indicators and the level of knowledge, attitude and behavior of nurses, and ensures the safety of patients.
