Application of CICARE communication model combined with situational teaching in standardized training of new nurses

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of the CICARE communication model combined with scenario-based teaching in the standardized training of new nurses.Methods:A total of 89 new nurses who participated in the standardized training were taught by CICARE communication model combined with scenario-based teaching.The clinical communication ability of 89 new nurses before and after the training was compared,and the evaluation of the new nurses on teaching was collected at the end of the course.Results:After training,the scores of team communication ability,difficult situation communication ability and emotional perception ability of new nurses were significantly higher than those before training(P<0.001).92.13%of the new nurses expressed the improvement of effective communication skills through training ability,91.01%of the new nurses expressed the improvement of clinical adaptability,and 93.26%of the new nurses hoped to continue to adopt the teaching mode.Conclusions:CICARE communication model in combination with scenario-based teaching can effectively improve the communication ability of new nurses,and the teaching satisfaction is high.
