Analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of prevention of occupational low back pain among anesthesia nurses

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the status quo of nurses'behaviors in preventing occupational low back pain in anesthesiology department and to analyze their influencing factors.Methods:A total of 383 anesthesiology nurses were selected by convenience sampling method from February to March 2023 as the study subjects,and were surveyed by general information questionnaire and Chinese Version of Nurses'Behavioral Scale for Prevention of Occupational Low Back Pain.Results:The behavioral scores of anesthesiology nurses in preventing occupational low back pain were(94.30±17.77)points.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender,working years and whether to take regular exercise were the influential factors for the prevention of occupational low back pain among anesthesiology nurses(all P<0.05).Conclusions:Nurses in the department of Anesthesiology have a moderate level of behavioral ability to prevent occupational low back pain and a strong sense of self-prevention.However,the knowledge reserve of low back pain prevention is insufficient.Targeted intervention measures and education plans should be taken to improve their ability to prevent occupational low back pain.
