Study on the status of neurasthenia and related factors in nursing undergraduates

Abstract:Objective:To study the current status of neurasthenia and its influencing factors, in order to provide basis for improving the physical and mental health in nursing undergraduates.Methods:Questionnaire survey was conducted with stratified cluster sampling.The general situation questionnaire, Self-rating Neurasthenia Scale and Self-rating Sub-health Scale (SRSHS) were used to investigate the 2013~2016 grade nursing undergraduates of five colleges in Hunan province.Results:86.23% of the nursing undergraduates had the tendency of neurasthenia and 8.30% of them had neurasthenia symptoms.There were significant differences in the scores of neurasthenia between undergraduates with different genders, frequent staying up late, different breakfast times, whether they were online for 5 hand longer, different exercise times, and whether they were in sub-health status (P<0.05).Conclusions:It is a common phenomenon that nursing undergraduates had the tendency of neurasthenia and had a high incidence of neurasthenia;Colleges should make good psychological education and pay more attention on psychological dredge.
