Study on correlation between quality of life and positive psychological characters of patients with lung cancer

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the correlation between the quality of life and the positive psychological characters of patients with lung cancer.Methods:A total of 80 patients with lung cancer who were treated in department of respiratory medicine were selected as the research objects,filled the general information questionnaire,quality of life scale (EQTRC QLQ-C30),the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC 10) and Adult Dispositional Hope Scale (ADHS).Pearson was used to analyze the correlation between quality of life and psychological resilience,Dispositional Hope.Results:The score of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale was 25.7±7.1, the score of the Adult Dispositional Hope Scale was 22.2±3.9.The positive psychological characters were positively correlated with the quality of life (role functioning,emotional functioning,cognitive functioning and social functioning) (P<0.05).Conclusions:Since positive psychological characters can affect the quality of life of patients with lung cancer,appropriate interventions should be taken to improve positive psychological characters and improve the quality of life of patients with lung cancer.
