Abstract：Objective:To probe into the self-care ability and quality of life in patients with peritoneal dialysis (CAPD),and to explore the relationship between them.Methods: With self-care Ability Scale (ESCA) and quality of life questionnaire (SF-36) in 80 cases of peritoneal dialysis patients were investigated and analyzed the correlation between the two.Results: The group of patients with self-care ability score was (109.09±13.303),the quality of life score was (53.12±9.448),both were positively correlated (r=0.569).Conclusion: Self-care ability and quality of life of patients with CAPD needs to be improved,clinical work should focus on improving the knowledge and skills of self care of patients to improve the quality of life of patients
