A qualitative study on role experience of emergency specialist nurses in Guangdong province
Abstract：Objective:To explore the role experience of emergency specialist nurses in Guangdong province,and to provide reference for the development of emergency specialist nurses.Methods:Using the phenomenological research methods in the qualitative research,the focus group was interviewed with the emergency specialist nur-ses in 1 8 hospitals in Guangdong Province,and the results were analyzed.Results:Five themes were obtained:the admitted degree of role was obviously improved;the performance of role was not balanced,part of the role performance is lower than expected;the duties and division of labor of role were not clear;role evaluation and in-centive management is not perfect;the development target of role was not clear.Conclusion:The role develop-ment of emergency specialist nurses should be based on clinical practice,clarify the responsibilities and division of the role of specialist nurses,establish and improve the performance mechanism of specialist nurses,gradually expand the multiple roles of specialist nurses and establish the occupational structure of specialist nurses.
