Abstract：This article comprehensive evaluated body temperature monitoring methods on several critically ill patients from these aspects:accuracy,safety,rapidity,and economy of temperature measurement.The measure-ments of temperature monitoring include three kinds of invasive temperature measurement methods on blood, nasopharyngeal,and urinary bladder;four kinds of noninvasive body temperature monitoring methods on rectal, temporal artery,forehead and axillary.It is suggested that the medical staff should choose the temperature meas-urement method according to the actual needs of the patients,and try to choose comfortable,safe and economical temperature measurement methods to meet the needs of treatment and nursing.
