Study on influence of personalized intervention on mental health of AIDS children

Abstract:Objective:To investigate acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)children’psychological prob-lems in Hainan province,and probe into the effect of tracking peer group adding to individualized psychological intervention.The questionnaire and semi structured interview were used to investigate AIDS children’s status quo including life,study,psychological aspects.And tracking peer group and personality counseling psychological intervention were carried out according to the existing psychological problems;the intervention effect was evalu-ated by using Self rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self rating of Depression Scale(SDS),Social Support Scale (SSS);Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescent(RSCA).Results:After intervention,the anxiety and depression of AIDS children were improved,the social support conditions were strengthened and the psychological resilience was increased,and there was statistically significant difference compared with that before the intervention(P<0.05).
