Application effect of telephone and SMS intervention follow up based on hope theory for breast cancer patients af-ter discharge

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application effect of telephone and SMS intervention follow up based on hope theory for breast cancer patients after discharge Methods:A total of 87 cases of postoperative breast cancer patients were randomly divided into observation group (43 cases)and control group(44 cases),telephone follow up and SMS intervention was given to the patients in control group,the patients in observation group telephone fol-low up and SMS intervention based on hope theory.The level of hope,medication compliance,quality of life, nursing service satisfaction of two groups of patients were compared before intervention,3 months and 6 months after the intervention,.Results After 3 months and 6 months of intervention,the hope level of patients in obser-vation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05),medication compliance of patients in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05),the quality of life of patients was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05);the satisfaction with nursing intervention in ob-servation group was 97.7%,significantly higher than 81.8% in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The tele-phone and SMS intervention based on hope theory could improve the level of hope,medication compliance,quali-ty of life and nursing satisfaction of patients with breast cancer.
