Study on anxiety of patients with acute pancreatitis and its related factors

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the anxiety status of the patients with acute pancreatitis and analyze its re-lated factors,so as to provide a basis for clinical intervention.Methods:A total of 5 5 patients with acute pancre-atitis were selected as the research objects from Chaoyang Hospital and Xuanwu Hospital.They were investiga-ted by using Questionnaire survey method that included the patients’general information,Self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS)and the self designed anxiety questionnaire.The data were analyzed by SPSS 1 3 .0 software.Re-sults:The Anxiety score (49.12±10.56)of patients with acute pancreatitis was higher than the norm (P<0.01).There was statistically significant difference in the level of anxiety among patients with acute pancreatitis varies with Gender,duration of hospitalization,severity of illness,whether the use of gastrointestinal decompression or not, different per capita monthly income.Conclusion:Patients with acute pancreatitis are more likely to have anxious emotions and the level of anxiety was related tothe gender,duration of hospitalization,severity of illness,wheth-er the use of gastrointestinal decompression or not,different per capita monthly income.Itmainly concentrated in worrying about their own diseases and daily life it is of great significance to take effective individualized nurs-ing and psychological intervention for different patients aiming at different crowds.
