Practice and appraisal of obj ective structured examination for nursing graduates
Abstract：Clinical competence assessment is an important measure of clinical nursing education.This paper in-troduces the application of Obj ective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)in nursing specialty of Shantou University Medical College since 2008,including carrying out clinical comprehensive ability assessment in nurs-ing graduates;evaluating the clinical practice ability and ability to solve practical problems of nursing students;summarizing and form a complete quantitative assessment system;applying to nursing teaching practice;and promoting the improvement of nursing teaching.
