Preliminary research on effect of schema theory on health education for patients with chronic hepatitis B
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application effect of schema theory on health education for patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods:A total of 120 chronic hepatitis B patients were divided into test group and control group 60 cases each.Patients of the control group received traditional health education method.Patients of the test group received heath education guided by schema theory.Then disease related knowledge of all cases had in-vestigated before discharge.And medical compliance behaviors of all patients were surveyed three months after discharge.Results:Disease related knowledge and compliance behaviors of the test group patients were higher than that of the control group cases.There were statistical significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:Schema theory guided health education could effectively promote the grasp of knowledge of health education in patients with chronic hepatitis B and improve their medical compliance behaviors.
