Meta analysis of intervention effect of telephone interviews for patients with breast cancer
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the intervention effect of telephone interviews for patients with breast cancer in China.Methods:The randomized controlled trials (RCTs)about telephone interviews intervention on breast cancer patients were searched in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),Wanfang Database and Chi-na Scientific Journal Database by VIP.The studies were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion crite-ria by two researchers critically.Then the data were extracted.Meta analysis was conducted by using RevMan 5.3 software,or only descriptive analysis was conducted instead.Results:Totally,5 papers including 667cases of breast cancer surgery patients were eligible to the criteria (339 in experimental group and 328 in control group) altogether.The meta analysis showed that compared with control group,the patients with breast cancer under telephone intervention had a better medication compliance,[RR = 1.32,95%CI (1.21,1.43 ),P = 0.001 ].The difference had statistical significance(P <0.05).Conclusion:The intervention effect of telephone interviews was better than routine care for the medication compliance of breast cancer patients.
