Qualitative research on influence of pre internship on learning of nursing undergraduates
Abstract：Objective:To know about the cognition of nursing undergraduates on the aspects of learning and clini-cal knowledge after participating in pre internship.Methods:A total of 1 8 nursing undergraduates who had par-ticipated in pre internship were interviewed by using semi structured case studies in qualitative research.Then the collected data were sorted out,analyzed and summarized.Results:By generic analysis,it refined and summa-rized three main ideas in the influence of pre internship on their learning:theory and practice learning,self learning cognition and clinical professional cognition.Conclusion:The pre internship could consolidate and strengthen the theory and practical knowledge of nursing students in school,promote their changes of self learning cognition and improve their interest in learning.The pre internship also appreciated the importance of clinical humane care and communication capabilities,helped students master the professional knowledge and im-prove self professional awareness.
