Application of two kinds of cleaning agents in cleaning of surgical instruments

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application of two kinds of cleaning agents in the cleaning of surgical in-struments.Methods:A total of 1000 surgical instruments were divided into group A and group B on average,500 cases in each.All two groups of surgical instruments were cleaned by using automatic spray cleaning and disin-fection machine for mechanical cleaning.The instruments in group A were cleaned with alkaline cleaning agent, the instruments in group B were cleaned with high efficiency and multi enzyme cleaning solution.The cleaning effect was evaluated by the visual observation,residual blood detection and microbiological tests.Results:In the visual results,after cleaning the qualified rate in group A was higher than that in group B (P<0.05).In the re-sidual blood test results,the clean pass rate in group A was lower than that in group B (P<0.05).In the micro-biological test results,the clean pass rate in group A was lower than that in group B (P<0.05).Conclusion:Al-kaline cleaning agent could reduce the appearance of surgical instruments rust and discoloration,and multi en-zyme cleaning agent had advantage on cleaning bloodstain and pathogen.
