Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of collaborative care model applied in rehabilitation training for pa-tients with spinal cord injury(SCI).Methods:A total of 84 patients with SCI were randomly divided into experi-mental group and the control group,42 cases in each. The patients in control group received conventional care and unscheduled follow up after discharge. The patients in experimental group received collaborative care mod-el including individualized knowledge instruction, rehabilitation training and follow up intervention besides routine nursing. After discharge, the followed up was carried out for 6 months based on plan, and then to com-pare the rehabilitation score, quality of life score and complications between both groups before and after the in-tervention.Results:The rehabilitation score and quality of life score in observation group were significantly bet-ter than those in control group, the incidence of complications in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Collaborative care model could enhance the independent life ability, reduce the incidence of complications, and then to improve the quality of life of SCI patients.
