Influence of evidence based nursing on quality of life and complications of chemotherapy patients with advanced non small cell lung cancer

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the influence of evidence based nursing on quality of life and complications of chemotherapy patients with NSCLC.Methods:A total of 72 chemotherapy patients with NSCLC in stage ofⅢb Ⅳtreated in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to the digital table method,3 6 cases in each.The patients in control group were given the common nursing in the course of chemotherapy,while the patients in observation group were given the evidence based nursing.Then the scores of activity ability and quality of life of patients were observed in two groups before and after the nursing,and then to compare the difference in the incidence of complications between the two nursing methods.Results:After the nursing intervention,The scores of activity ability and quality of life of patients in two groups were all in-creased,the scores in observation group were respectively 94.81±2.64 and 96.59±2.09,which were both high-er than those in control group (82.73±3.11 and 81.42±2.22)(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in observation group was 11.11%,which was lower than that in control group (30.55%),the difference was sta-tistically significant between both groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of evidence based nursing for chemotherapy patients with advanced NSCLC could effectively improve the patients’activity ability and quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications.
