Correlations research between nurses’job burnout and job stress,job satisfaction and social support in new hospital

Abstract：Objective:To Study on the correlations between nurses’job burnout and job stress,job satisfaction and social support.Methods:A total of 632 nurses of a new hospital were investigated by self designed general information questionnaire,nurse job burnout scale,nurses job stress scale,nurse job satisfaction questionnaire and social support rating scale.Results:The emotional exhaustion dimension of the nurses was moderate burnout level,and the dimensions of de personality and personal accomplishment were high burnout level.The score of the nurses’job stress was 2.60±0.41,and it was in the middle level.The nurses’job satisfaction score was 73.73± 12.61,and it was also in the middle level.The nurses’job burnout had different relevance to job stress,job satis-faction and social support in new hospital.Conclusion:The nurses’job stress,job satisfaction and social support are the main influence factors on job burnout in new hospital.The managers should pay more attention on nur-ses’job stress and job satisfaction,and enhance the social support of nursing professional,so as to stabilize the nurse team and reduce the turnover rate of nurses.
