Influence of diet diary intervention on quality of life of patients with inflammatory bowel disease

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the influence of diet diary intervention on quality of life of patients with in-flammatory bowel disease.Methods:A total of48 patients withinflammatory bowel diseasewere selected as the research obj ects,and they wrote the diet diary under the guidance of the doctors and the nurses.According tothe problems of dailydietin patients,the targeted dietary guidance and dietary counseling were carried out.The pa-tients’quality of life was evaluated by using the Chinese version of IBDQ before and after the intervention.Re-sults:In self comparison,the scores of all dimensions of IBDQ and total score in patients after the intervention were significantly higher than those before the intervention,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Diet diaryintervention couldchangethe patient’sbad diet habits and slow the progress ofthe disease,thus help toimprove the patients’quality oflife.
