Influence of integrated Chinese and Western care on infantile diarrhea treatment effectiveness and length of stay
Abstract:Objective:To probe into the influence of integrated Chinese and Western care on treatment effect and length of stay of patients with infantile diarrhea. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on clinical data of 128 cases of infantile diarrhea patients in our hospital from December 2013 to December 2014,and these patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the nursing methods,64 cases in each. The patients in control group were given routine nursing care and the patients in observation group re-ceived integrated Chinese and Western care. The effectiveness of treatment and hospitalization time between both groups were observed and compared. Results:After different treatment, there were 40 cases of cured pa-tients in observation group, effective in 21 cases;30 cases cured patients in control group, effective in 20 cases. The total effective rate was significantly lower in control group than that in observation group,P <0.05.The average hospitalization days in observation group and control group respectively were (5.12 ±2.13)days and (9.25±3.5 1)days,and that in control group was significantly longer than that in observation group,P <0.05. Conclusion:The implementation of integrated Chinese and Western care can effectively improve the clinical cura-tive effect for infantile diarrhea and shorten the length of stay.
