Application study on self made upper limb raised pillow for patients after transradial coronary intervention

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application effect of self made upper limb raised pillow for acute myo-cardium infarction patients after transradial coronary intervention.Methods:A total of 120 cases of acute myo-cardial infarction patients after transradial coronary intervention in department of cardiology were selected as the research objects,and they were randomly divided into observation group and the control group,60 cases in each.The patients in control group used conventional nursing method.On the basis of routine nursing,the pa-tients in observation group were given nursing care with upper limb raised pillow.Results:At the 6th hour after operation,the root circumference of index finger in operative side in patients in control group was greater than that in observation group.The pain of wrist palm part of operative limb in patients in control group was more significant compared with that in observation group.In control group,the hospital satisfaction and comfortable level of patients were lower than that in observation group,and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion:The self made upper limb raised pillow can significantly reduce the patients’pain and swell-ing of wrist palm part of operative limb.It has positive significance to improve the patients’hospital satisfac-tion and comfortable degree.
