Effect observation on intravenous infusion of high concentrations of potassium chloride added to lidocaine for pain relief
Abstract:Objective:To probe into the effect of intravenous infusion of high concentrations of potassium chlo-ride added to lidocaine for pain relief. Methods:A total of 60 cases of patients needing intravenous potassium with micro pump was selected and they were randomly divided into t experimental group and control group,30 cases in each. The patients in experimental group received the micro pump to pump into 0.9% sodium chloride 35 mlL+15% potassium chloride 20 mL+ hydrochloric acid lidocaine 5 mL.In control group,30 patients were treated with routine nursing measures, which were treated with 0.9% mL+ 15% sodium chloride 40 and 20 mL.The pain was evaluated in both groups.Result:The pain of patients in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group (P <0.05).Conclusion:High concentrations of intravenous infusion of potassi-um added lidocaine can obviously relieve the incidence of pain. This method is simple, safe and feasible, and it can be easily accepted by the patients. At the same time,it can improve the efficiency of clinical work and reduce the workload of nurses.
