Observation and nursing care of patients receiving continuous femoral nerve block analgesia in total knee replace-ment
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application effect of continuous femoral nerve block analgesia for patients undergoing total knee replacement.Methods:A total of 60 patients with total knee replacement surgery were randomly divided into CFNB group and CIA group from May in 2013 to September in 2014.In CFNB group,30 patients received the postoperative continuous femoral nerve block analgesia.30 patients in CIA group received postoperative self control introvenous analgesia.The VAS pain score,postoperative pain score,knee joint activ-ity,etc.were compared between both groups.Results:There were significant differences in postoperative VAS pain score,knee activity and incidence of analgesic complications between CFNB group and CIA group(P <0.05). Conclusion:Continuous femoral nerve block has good analgesic effect and less side effect in patients undergoing total knee replacement.It can maximize the recovery of the function of prosthetic joint and promote the rapid re-covery of patients.
