Clinical effect and nursing care of malignant intestinal obstruction patients undergoing transanal ileus tube

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the nursing method and clinical effect of patients with colorectal carcinoma associated intestinal obstruction undergoing transanal ileus tube therapy.Methods:A total of 18 cases of color-ectal cancer obstruction patients who treated in our department from 201 1 to 2013 were selected and they re-ceived the transanal ileus tube therapy,10 cases who did not receive catheter treatment in the same period were taken as control group.Results:After 18 intestinal obstruction patients received the treatment of anal intestinal obstruction catheter placement,their clinical symptoms,abdominal signs and X ray manifestations have been eased in different degree,and the quality of life score was significantly improved and it was significantly im-proved than that of patients who did not receive catheter therapy.In 18 cases patients who received the catheter treatment,there were 1 1 cases completed stage I surgical resection,which only two cases had prevention of fis-tula surgery;in 10 cases of patients who did not received the catheter treatment,there were four cases under-went emergency surgery,six cases underwent the preventive or permanent colostomy surgery.Conclusion:Anal type of intestinal obstruction catheter therapy can effectively improve the symptoms of patients with malignant intestinal obstruction and facilitate subsequent surgery or chemotherapy.
