Value of family empowerment theory in nursing care of chronic gastritis patients with atrophic gastric mucosa ero-sion and its influence on patients’compliance

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the value of family empowerment theory in nursing care of chronic gastritis patients with atrophic gastric mucosa erosion.Methods:A total of 80 cases of patients with chronic gastritis complicated with atrophic gastric mucosa erosion were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,40 cases in each.Patients in control group received the routine nursing method,but the nursing plan was designed combined with the family empowerment theory for the patients in observation group,then to compare the clinical curative effect and quality of life between two groups of patients,and analyze the health behavior compliance and disease cognition of patients.Results:After 3 months of nursing care,the total effective rate was 90% in observation group and 77.5% in control group,the total effective rate in observation group was signifi-cantly higher than that in control group (χ2=5.741,P=0.017);in observation group,all NHP sub project scores were significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05);the disease knowledge of patients in ob-servation group on etiology,drug related knowledge and dietary cognition was higher than that in control group (P<0.05),the behavior compliance of patients in observation group in the standard medication,regular check,reasonable diet,emotion regulation,smoking and drinking were better than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The families participating in nursing scheme established through the family empowerment theory can effectively improve the quality of life and health behavior compliance and improve the prognosis of patients.
