Influence of ear buried beans combined with comfort care on pain and negative emotions of patients after amygda-lectomy

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the influence of ear buried beans combined with comfort care on pain and negative emotions of patients after amygdalectomy.Methods:A total of 84 patients undergoing tonsillectomy who were treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table,42 cases in each.The patients in control group received the comfort care during the perioperative period,while the patients in observation group received the ear buried beans nursing on the basis of comfort care.Then the patients’postoperative pain,negative emotions, postoperative pseudomembrane formation time,wound healing time,hospitalization time and satisfaction were compared in both groups.Results:The pain score of observation group was lower than that during the same peri-od in control group on postoperative first day and postoperative third day and one day before discharge;the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD)were lower than that of control group after intervention;the postoperative pseudomembrane formation time,wound healing time and hospitalization time of patients in observation group were shorter than that in control group,but the patients’ satisfaction score was higher than that in control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion:Ear buried beans combined with comfort care can effectively relieve patients’pain after amygdalec-tomy and patients’negative emotions,improve patients’satisfaction and promote patients’rehabilitation.
