Survey of status quo of self management ability of ileostomy patients and analysis on its influencing factors
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the status quo and influencing factors of self management ability of prophy-lactic ileostomy patients,and provide the targeted nursing intervention measures for ileostomy patients.Meth-ods:A total of 60 prophylactic ileostomy patients received questionnaire survey by using the general information questionnaire,stoma questionnaire of ileostomy patients and self management ability questionnaire of ileostomy patients.Results:The self management ability of ileostomy patients was in a low level,the main influencing fac-tors were the patient’s age,cultural level,family per capita income,occupation situation and so on.Conclusion:The self management ability of ileostomy patients is insufficient,the medical personnel should provide rehabili-tation services from psychological support,knowledge education,the use and replacement of stoma relevant products and the prevention and treatment of ileostomy complications,aiming to improve the patients’disease self management ability and make them return to family and society as early as possible.
