Application research on whole program of health education guidance in prevention and treatment of pressure ulcer
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the effect of whole program of health education guidance for prevention and treatment of pressure ulcer.Methods:A total of 1 1 7 patients with high risk of pressure ulcer were selected as the observation group in internal medicine in our hospital from 2012 January to 2012 December,and they received the routine nursing,and they and their families also received the whole program of health education guidance;while 125 patients wiht high risk of pressure ulcer were selected as control group at the same period,they re-ceived the routine nursing;the incidence of pressure ulcer was recorded in detail and analyzed in two groups.Re-sults:The incidence,prevalence rate and mortality rates of patients’pressure ulcer in control group were respec-tively 40.00%,36.80% and 9.60%,while those of the observation group respectively were 25.64%,20.51%and 2.56%;the patients’nursing satisfaction in control group was 87.20%,while that of observation group was 96.58%;the difference between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The whole pro-gram of health education guidance can significantly reduce the incidence,prevalence rate and mortality rate of pressure ulcer,and improve the patients’nursing satisfaction.
