Abstract:Objective:To probe into the effect of nursing risk management for reducing neonatal iatrogenic skin injuries. Methods:A total of 689 hospitalized neonates were selected as the control group before the implementa-tion of nursing risk management, and they received the routine skin nursing method, while 929 cases were se-lected as the observation group after the implementation of nursing risk management, then to identify the nurs-ing risks of neonatal iatrogenic nursing skin injuries and compare the situation of it between both groups by cor-responding nursing risk control measures. Results:There were 13 cases and 38 cases with neonatal iatrogenic skin injuries respectively in observation group and control group. The incidence of iatrogenic skin injuries after the implement of nursing risk management decreased significantly, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01).Conclusion:The implementation of nursing risk management can reduce the incidence of neonatal i-atrogenic skin injuries.
