Evaluation on application effect of comfort care for patients with primary angle closure glaucoma treated with laser

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the application effect of comfort care for patients with primary angle closure glaucoma treated with laser.Methods:A total of 158 patients with primary angle closure glaucoma treated with laser were randomly divided into comfort group (83 cases)and routine group (75 cases),and the patients in comfort group received comfort care mode,while the patients in routine group received routine nursing mode. The patients’anxiety and comfort and satisfaction to the nursing process were compared during the periopera-tive period.Results:The patients’anxiety score in comfort group was lower than that in routine group (P <0.05), psychological comfort score,physiological comfort score and environmental comfort score were all higher than that in routine group (P <0.05),and satisfaction to nursing process was much higher than that in routine group (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion:Comfort care is helpful to reduce the anxiety of patients with primary angle closure glaucoma treated with laser during the perioperative period,improve patients’comfort level and satisfaction to the nursing process.
