Abstract:Obj ective:To probe into the improvement of having oral bile for liver function and nutritional status patients with malignant obstructive j aundice after percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage (PTCD),and the adverse reactions. Methods:A total of 85 patients with malignant obstruc-tive jaundice after PTCD were randomly divided into observation group and control group,43 cases in observation group and 42 cases in control group. The patients in observation group had oral bile on the basis of routine treat-ment,while the patients in control group received routine treatment only. And then to compare the patients’liver and kidney function,gastrointesti-nal function, nutritional status and electrolyte between both groups.Re-sults:The patients’liver function and bilirubin index in observation group were lower than that in control group, but the comparative results were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The patients’triceps skinfold thickness, serum albumin and total protein among nutritional indicators in observation group were higher than that in control group, and the difference was statis-tically significant(P<0.05).There was not statistically significant differ-ence in patients’gastrointestinal function between both groups(P>0.05). Conclusion:Having oral bile in patients with malignant obstructive jaundice after PTCD has not significant effect for the recovery of liver function and jaundice subsided, but it can significantly improve the patients’nutritional status and don't have adverse reactions. Therefore, clinical nurses can guide such patients to have oral bile,so as to improve the patients'nutritional sta-tus and improve the patients'quality of life and provide conditions for opera-tion treatment.
