Observation on effect of acupuncture therapy combined with predictive nursing care for prevention and treatment of postpartum urinary retention

Abstract：Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture therapy com-bined with predictive nursing care for prevention and treatment of postpar-tum urinary retention.Methods:A total of 80 lying in women with the high risk factors of urinary retention were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method,40 cases in each.The lying in women in observation group received acupuncture ther-apy combined with predictive nursing care,while the lying in women in control group received acupuncture therapy combined with conventional health education,and then to observe the effect of intervention on lying in women in both groups.Results:The total effective rate in observation group (95.0%)was significantly higher than that of control group (77.5%),and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion:Acupunc-ture therapy is an effective method for the treatment of postpartum urinary retention,and acupuncture therapy combined with predictive nursing care can effectively prevent the occurrence of postpartum urinary retention and improve the clinical symptoms of lying in women.
