Appl ication of cluster intervention in rel ieving pain of diabetic patients during blood glucose determination

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application effect of cluster inter-vention for relieving pain of diabetic patients during blood glucose determi-nation.Methods:A total of 120 cases of diabetic patients were divided into control group and observation group based on the length of stay.The pa-tients in control group received blood collecting by the routine operation process of finger blood glucose determination,whlie the patients in observa-tion group received the optimized process after cluster intervention,and then to compare the patients’pain score and satisfaction to blood glucose determination between both groups.Results:The patients’pain score in ob-servation group was lower than that in control group,and the patients had a higher satisfaction to glucose determination,there was statistically signifi-cant difference compared with control group (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion:The implementation of cluster interventions during fast blood glucose determi-nation in the fingertips can relieve patients’pain and improve their satisfac-tion.
