Review on researches on indwell ing catheterization time after cesarean section

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the difference among influences of in-dwelling catheterization time on maternal postpartum recovery after ce-sarean section.Methods:The randomized controlled trials were collected on the influence of catheter removal time on maternal postpartum recov-ery after cesarean section by electronic searches of PubMed,CNKI,Wan-fang Data,and judged the methodological value included in researches was evaluated.Results:A total of 4 randomized controlled trials were includ-ed,involving 458 patients.Conclusion:There was significant difference in in reducing the incidence of urinary retention,improving the success rate of natural urination and reducing the incidence of urinary tract infection between catheter removal at 12h after cesarean section and at 24 h after cesarean section.
