Application of Roy’s adaptation model in nursing care of patients with prostatitis

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the positive role of Roy’s adaptation model in relieving the anxiety and depression in patients with chronic prostatitis.Methods:A total of 120 cases of prostatitis patients were divided into observation group and control group,60 cases in each.They were investigated respectively by using self rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self rating depressive scale.Results:The anxiety score of patients in observation group was significantly lower than that of control group when discharging,and the quality of life were positively correlated with all factors (P <0.05).Conclusion:The introduction of Roy adaptation model for nursing care of patients with chronic prostatitis can improve patients'anxiety and depression state better,and it has reference function to guide the nursing work.
