Influence of diet tips card on diet awareness rate of patients after otolaryngology head and neck surgery

Abstract：Objective:To probe into influence of diet tips card on diet awareness rate of patients after otolaryngology head and neck surgery. Methods:A total of 360 patients after otolaryngology head and neck sur-gery were divided into observation group and control group,180 cases in each.Patients in control group received conventional oral health education method,besides that the diet tips card was used in observation group, then to compare the postoperative diet awareness rate and satisfaction of patients between both groups.Results:The awareness rate and satisfac-tion of patients on diet knowledge in observation group were significantly higher than that of control group (P <0.05).Conclusion:The application of diet tips can improve diet awareness rate of patients at the same of oral health education for patients after throat head and neck surgery.
