Abstract：It expounded the effect of oral care of patients undergoing me-chanical ventilation,reviewed the research progress on oral care solution of patients undergoing mechanical ventilation.It pointed out that the ef-fective oral care is one of important measures to reduce the incidence of ventilator associated pneumonia,and the choice of oral care solution is no uniform national regulations.It proposed that the evidence based care evidence level and Meta analysis method should be taken to get the unification guidelines of oral care solution for mechanically ventilated pa-tients.
