Analysis on status quo of fal ls of the elderly in pension institutions
Abstract：Obj ective:To know about status quo of falls of the elderly in pen-sion institutions and analyze the related factors of falls.Methods:A total of 74 elderly people in three pension institutions in Nanjing city who were will-ing to cooperate with were investigated on status quo of falls of the elderly in pension institutions.Results:The incidence of falls in older people in pension institutions was 39.2%,and the influencing factors included sleep, chronic disease history and medication history.Conclusion:The incidence of falls in older people is higher in pension institutions,and effective preventive interventions need to be adopted to reduce the occurrence of falls in older people.
