Influence of percussion expectoration combined with respiratory training on pulmonary symptoms in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients

Abstract：Obj ective:To probe into the influence of percussion expectoration combined with respiratory training on pulmonary symptoms in chronic ob-structive pulmonary disease patients.Methods:A total of 100 cases of COPD patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group,50 cases in each.Two groups of patients were treated with anti in-flammatory,expectorant and comprehensive treatment of symptomatic and supportive,besides that the patients in observation group received percus-sion expectoration with breathing exercises.The clinical effect was com-pared between both groups.Results:There was statistically significant difference in breathing after expectoration and oxygen saturation between both groups (P<0.05 );in observation group the disappeared time of cough,sputum volume and pulmonary rales was earlier than that in control group (P<0.05);clinical effect in observation group was better than that in control group (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion:Percussion expectoration with breathing exercises can significantly improve lungs symptoms in patients with COPD,promote expectoration,improve curative effect and promote pa-tients recovery as soon as possible.
