Qualitative research on influence of pre professional internship of nursing undergraduate on their career awareness

Abstract：bstract:Objective To probe into the influence of nursing undergraduates participating in pre professional internship on their career awareness,so as to provide the basis for further carrying out pre internship of nursing students and improving the quality of pre internship.Methods:Phenome-nological method of qualitative research was taken as the basis,and the pur-posive sampling method was used to select 1 8 nursing students who has participated in the pre practice as research subj ects,and they received the semi structured in depth interviews,the obtained data were analyzed,or-ganized and summarized to get the theme.Results:Total four themes were extracted:clinical awareness,nurses ’professional image,self awareness (plus or minus two way emotional experience)and career planning.Con-clusion:aiming at nursing students existing problems during the pre in-ternship,we should control pre internship quality from many aspects and improve nursing education.Nursing students should also improve their o-verall quality and to realize the value of pre internship.
