Observation on appl ication effect of program of nursing intervention for mechanically ventilated patients

Abstract：Obj ective:To observe the application effect of program of nursing intervention for mechanically ventilated patients.Methods:A to-tal of 110 cases of mechanically ventilated patients were randomly divided into observation group(60 cases)and control group(50 cases).Patients in control group received routine care,besides that the patients in observa-tion group were given program of nursing interventions,then to compare the mechanical ventilation time,intensive care unit(ICU)monitoring time and the occurrence of nosocomial infections,ventilator associated pneu-monia(VAP)and death situation between both groups.Results:duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU monitoring time in observation group were less than that in control group(P<0.01),the hospital infection, VAP and mortality in patients in observation group were lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:program of nursing intervention applied in mechanically ventilated patients can reduce the risk of treat-ment and improve clinical outcomes.
