Abstract:Obj ective:To observe the nursing effect of shallow suction in premature infants periventricular intraventricular hemorrhage (PIVH IVH).Methods:A total of 80 cases of premature infants with periventric-ular intraventricular hemorrhage (PIVH IVH)who need mechanical ventilation were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group. The patients in observation group used shallow suction method, patients in control group adopted traditional suction method.Re-sults:irritability performance such as limb tremors, systemic or local spastic reactions during suction in observation group was less than that of control group;Enhancement of PIVH IVH degree(≥Ⅱ level)after a week was less than that of control group, and the differences were statis-tically significant (P<0.05 ).Conclusion:Shallow suction can prevent and reduce irritability occurrence in premature infants with PIVH IVH, and reduce the enhancement of PIVH IVH degree.
