Influence of gathered psychological intervention on negative emotions and daily life ability of patients with syphilis

Abstract：Obj ective:To observe the influence of gathered psychological in-tervention on negative emotions and daily life ability of patients with syphi-lis.Methods:A total of 32 cases of syphilis patients in our hospital from Au-gust in 2010~August in 2011 were selected as control group,routine nursing for them;35 cases of syphilis patients were selected as observation group from August in 2012 to August in 2013,the gathered psychological interven-tion was carried out for them on the basis of routine care.Both groups of pa-tients received measurement with SAS (self rating Anxiety Scale),SDS (self rating Depression Scale)and Barthel index Rating Scale respective before in-tervention and at the end of fourth week after intervention,and then to re-cord and compare the data.Results:After intervention,SAS and SDS scores in observation group were lower than that in control group (P<0.05).After intervention,the activities of daily living in observation group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Gathered psychological in-tervention for syphilis patients focused psychological intervention can effec-tively reduce the negative emotion and improve the ability of daily life.
